properties. The Curtition VL Series provides sound attenuation properties
as follows:

Curtition folding partitions are designed to provide optimum appearance,
function, durability and economy.
- Frame: Steel Rod (3/16") is cut to precise length
and welded to 14 gauge, reinforced steel hinge plates to form
a true pantograph, with smooth, even opening and closing operation.
- Heavy Duty Track: High tensile strength 14 gauge extruded
aluminum track supports the door and moves it quietly across the
space. Special taper design prevents wheel "chatter".
- Wheel Carrier: Swivel type, heat treated steel trolleys
carry nylon covered, ball bearing wheels for quiet, vibration
free operation.
- Handle: Chrome finished steel handle provides sure grip
and positive closing action for ease of door movement.
- Strong Latch: Patented 1/4" thick steel latch "finger"
grabs the receiver and snaps into the closed position.
- Anchor Post: 14 gauge roll formed steel lead post ensures
longitudinal rigidity and proper door alignment.
- Seam-Free Covers: Unique internal mounting design allows
covers to be attached without unsightly horizontal seams or external
buttons. Resulting appearance is smooth and "seamless".
- Layered Design: Layered design combines two to eight
layers of sound absorbent material for required STC rating.
- Cover Materials: Choose from heavy duty vinyl, fabric,
or carpet.
- Sweep Strips: Multi-ply, rubberized material mounted
top and bottom, both sides, to prevent sound penetration.
